After some rather positive forecasts regarding Chinese exports and imports, we are instead witnessing a decline for the former of 0.3% and the latter for 0.7%. In reality, Reuters analysts expected exports to rise 4.3% while for imports, the forecast is just around 0.1%, due to the collapse of real estate and weak domestic consumption.
